Jonathan Santos-Ramos
​Jonathan Santos-Ramos is the Director of Community Engagement & Strategic Iniatives at Callen-Lorde Health Center where he is responsible for internal and external relationship building and maintenance, Board of Director Liaison, as well as, working directly with the Executive Director, leading initiatives that are strategic for Callen-Lorde’s continued growth. Mr. Santos-Ramos is a returning staff member at Callen-Lorde, returning as Site Director of Callen-Lorde Community Health Center’s new Bronx site under a Needs Access Point grant and previously working as Director of Prevention, Outreach, and Education from 2001 to 2010. Callen-Lorde is New York City's first Community Health Center dedicated to meeting the healthcare and wellness needs, including social/supportive services, for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and those living with HIV, regardless of ability to pay. As Director of Prevention and Education, he was in charge of implementing contracts, responding to Requests for Proposals, and overseeing quality of services and outcomes in order to satisfy all contractual requirements. Recently, he was the Center Director for Community Healthcare Network - Community League Health Center, serving the underserved, uninsured and underinsured and immigrant communities of Upper Manhattan and the South Bronx. In this role, he was responsible for the daily operation and clinical capacity expansion of Community League, which achieved the goal of expanding 250% by May 2015. Previously he held the position of Deputy Director of Business Systems and Strategy for the Bureau of HIV Prevention and Control of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. There, he was responsible for the solicitation and contracting process for a portfolio of close to 300 contracts, as well as the administrative staff business-side management of the eSHARE (electronic system for HIV/AIDS reporting and evaluation) system.

Prior to receiving his Masters in Public Administration from the Executive program at Baruch College, School of Public Affairs and a BA in Women and Gender Studies from Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey.Jonathan spent most of his high school years at Fajardo Academy, Fajardo, Puerto Rico. ​
