​Lee F. Carson, MSW, LSW
​​Lee F. Carson has worked in the field of human services for over 20 years, and more than ten years as a therapist. Lee works from a very client-centered, non-judgmental place, helping clients work through life challenges to get to a holistic, more self-actualized place. His therapeutic specialties include: sexual orientation, gender identity, sexuality (including kink and sexual addiction), relationship challenges (including couples counseling, polyamory and open relationships), depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, phase of life challenges, existential crises, self esteem and self-worth challenges, as well as chemical abuse and dependence. Lee's therapeutic orientations include, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy techniques, Motivational Interviewing and the integration of several other modalities. In his client-centered approach, he assumes clients often have much of what they need to resolve their challenges, these solutions just need to be bought out through strategic questioning and the provision of insights in a therapeutic environment that will help the client grow and work towards problem resolution.

He has a bachelor's degree in health science with a concentration in chemical dependency counseling and a master's degree in social work, with a concentration in family and community practice. He is a licensed social worker in Pennsylvania, (license # SW125607) Additionally, Lee has taught in the Graduate School of Social Work at Temple University since 2008 and in the Behavioral Health and Human Services program at the Community College of Philadelphia since 2011 and teaches clinical courses at both colleges.
