Lulu Duffy-Tumasz
Clinical Intern
I am a Philly-raised queer and trans clinician currently obtaining my masters in clinical social work at Bryn Mawr College. I come to MTR after 10 years working and volunteering in harm reduction, direct service, and political organizing. I have extensive experience working with sex workers, the kink and BDSM community, and those in non-traditional relationship structures. I have worked for years in gender affirming/trans services and other forms of LGBTQ care.
I come from a psychodynamic approach with a focus on topics surrounding substance use, sex, and gender identity. I believe the base of therapy is the relationship and am trauma-focused and informed. I honor and center clients’ autonomy in the co-created therapeutic space. Any discussion will be met with compassion, interest, and intrigue. I utilize a variety of skills and techniques to best suit each client and their complex needs.
